Tying the knot? There are no excuses for grooms not to be looking sharp on their big day. The good news for guys is it doesn’t need to be difficult. Suit, shirt, tie and done … well, we could put a little more effort in than that. Regardless of how often you're going to wear the suit, I'd recommend the groom purchasing a suit for his big day – you'll own a garment that fits you perfectly and you will look and feel so much better. At the end of the day a wedding is a big spend for most couples, so you might as well come out of it with your own suit – it beats buying one down the track for someone else’s wedding!
The groomsmen’s suits (generally hired) don’t have to match the groom's, but the groomsmen’s suits should all match. Take into account the build of your groomsmen when selecting their suits, as not all styles suit all builds – you want your groomsmen feeling great on the day too!
