Exciting new jewellery exhibitions arrive at The National

Two new touring exhibitions arrive at The National from next Thursday the 6th June: Unnatural Acts, a curated collection which features the work of Australian jewellers Anna Davern, Caz Guiney, Kath Inglis, Bridget Kennedy, Peta Kruger, Sim Luttin, Natalia Milosz-Piekarska and Mark Vaarwerk; and Unnatural Tendencies, consisting of new individual and collaborative works from Melinda Young and Lauren Simeoni.

The launch of both exhibitions is from 5-7pm on the Thursday at The National, with Lauren Simeoni making the trip over from Adelaide for the opening on to speak about her collaborations with Melinda and the overall project. Don’t miss it!

The National is also thrilled that Lauren will be staying on to take a very special workshop on Saturday the 8th June.  (Those interested in participating can contact the gallery directly for more information.)
